My first post - oh, the pressure!

If you're reading this, you've possibly come to my website, clicked on the different tabs, then saw the "Scott's Blog" tab and thought what could this idiot possibly have to say that would be of any interest to me?

That's a valid thought, and one I may never be able to answer.

Blog's, among other things, are used to push up one's standings in the search engines.  So, in theory, if I say enough key words, and make enough entries, somehow, someone who doesn't know me, but wants to find a comedian, will stumble across my website, and, if the stars align, will book me for a very lucrative gig.

I won't hold my breath for that.

While I can't make promises, this being my first post, and all, my initial intention is to just have some fun.  Whether I'm telling you about myself, pointing out the absurd, posting the makings of a new joke/bit, sharing a funny video/picture, offering unsolicited advice, or highlighting a fellow comedian...the intent will always be to have some fun, tongue in cheek, unless otherwise stated.

I encourage you to read, share and even comment, if compelled (and if I have the comments turned on, I really don't know what the hell I'm doing, so that may be a tech issue I have to deal with).

My personal goal is that, over time, radio show listeners and comedy fans come to enjoy my tweets, Facebook posts and blog entries such that they will look to come to my shows when I am in their area.

Currently, however, the only other person reading this is my mom, and I'm pretty sure she lied just to make me feel good.

Have fun,

Scott
